China is a challenging trip.
Especially if you travel by bike, and you want to discover it in its everyday life, far from conventional places and from the comfort of tourist life.
China is a challenging trip.
Especially if you move in winter: apart from large megacities, there is no heating. You resist thanks to the hot air conditioning, the improvised braziers on the doorstep, or the possibility of putting on an extra jacket, sold at a low price.
China is a challenging trip.
Especially if the expectations are high, the hopes of improvement are strong, but the reality is like a frozen shower.

China managed to burry somewhere our enthusiasm! Probably under the endless layers of coal and dust, under the piles of rubbish that characterize each road, under the rubble of old houses never renovated, under the chaos typical of each place.
It’s also for this reason that lately we don’t show you many pictures, and we don’t keep our travel diary assiduously, as in the past.
We would need a “enthusiastically” dog – rather than “truffle” dog – someone or something that invites us to take stock of the situation, regain the passion for this project, and move on.

Today, somewhere in our beloved Italy, at home, it snows. Everything is covered with a blanket of snow. Everything is quieter and slower, respecting Nature.
It was a long time since we waiting for it. And with joy it came. Here, after months of cold and rain, and the sun always covered by a thick blanket of smog, we finally return to see the blue sky and we are kissed by the warm rays of the sun.
It was a long time since we waiting for it. And with joy it came.
It will be that it’s snowing at home. It will be that here, almost on the other side of the world, there is the sun and we treat ourselves a ride with shorts. It will be that our “enthusiastically” dog smelled something. It will be, but today was a beautiful day!

Don’t worry! We’re fine! Riding a bicycle also helps to reflect, to understand, to improve, to find the right grid to rolling the sleeves and move on! On the way to happiness! ☀️🙏🌿
