Finally we started riding again, sweating, challenging the adverse weather, discovering the world with our eyes.
In this part of China the landscape is completely different: the nature around us is luxuriant! We ride on lush mountains of green woods, orchards of mandarins, bamboo, palm trees and rice fields. Yes, that’s right: strange landscape combinations, which make everything even more fascinating!
The streets are winding, full of up and downs. Heavy traffic is significantly decreased. We meet some cow, some mule and lots of geese.
We don’t deny, however, that the confusion and the streets full of rubbish remained as such and to the most industrialized areas in the north. Indeed, now the heaps of waste stand out even more, in a natural context of such beauty! And for us it’s always a blow to the heart, to see and live these situations on the skin.
Finally we started riding again, sweating, challenging the adverse weather, discovering the world with our eyes. And the satisfaction of achieving all of this, together, is our greatest reward!
