Traveling with the sun is completely different!
It’s pure energy, it’s unconditional happiness, it’s jaunty enthusiasm.
We don’t complain about the heat, also because we waited for it with great trepidation.

The streets are not very busy. The cars are respectful, and keep at a safe distance. And more than anything else, the quiet reigns: nobody honks the horn to warn of its passage. What a joy!

This part of Laos looks like an open-air farm without fences. The animals (cows, goats, pigs and chickens) roam free, run carefree, “greet us” and even come to meet us in the hope of something to eat or a cuddle ✌️😅
